Arbane is one of Champagne’s six authorised grapes — and one of the rarest. A historic white variety of the Aube, it had nearly disappeared before being saved by passionate growers around Montgueux and Les Riceys. As a champagne, it produces sparkling wines of rare originality and aromatic finesse.
