On Bordeaux’s Right Bank — Saint-Émilion, Pomerol, Fronsac — Cabernet franc is the second variety after Merlot, contributing aromatic finesse and structure. In great Pomerols and the finest Saint-Émilions, it can represent up to 50% of the blend.
