Cabernet franc Sonoma County vin rouge tranquille

Origin
Pyrenean Piedmont
Growing regions
France, Italy, Spain, USA, Chile, New Zealand, Argentina, California, Australia, South Africa
Also known as
Breton

Cabernet franc from Sonoma County — particularly in the Alexander Valley, Knights Valley and Sonoma Valley AVAs — produces fresher, more elegant expressions than in Napa. The oceanic influence of some Sonoma sectors favours the variety’s finesse and aromatic complexity. The colour is deep, brilliant ruby garnet.
