In the Roussillon, Carignan finds one of its finest terroirs. On the granites, gneiss and schists of the eastern Pyrénées, century-old vines in the Côtes du Roussillon Villages and Maury produce wines of exceptional concentration and depth. The colour is near-black purple garnet, of remarkable density.
