The white wines of the Côte de Nuits — the northern part of the Côte d’Or, essentially devoted to Pinot noir — are true rarities. From Fixin to Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chardonnay occupies a few privileged parcels, including the Côte de Nuits-Villages blanc and the village appellations.
