Montagny — an appellation entirely dedicated to white Chardonnay, the only one in the Chalonnaise where the entire AOC is white — is produced in four communes in the south of the Côte Chalonnaise. Limestone soils yield dry, fruity and mineral whites with genuine Burgundian elegance and excellent value.
