Paarl — the great historic wine region of the Cape at the foot of Paarl’s granite rocks — produces Chenin Blancs in a more generous and ample style than the cool coastal regions. Paarl’s warm climate yields ripe, rich Chenin, often vinified with or without malolactic fermentation depending on the desired style.
