Cortese Piémont Gavi vin blanc tranquille

Gavi — a DOCG on the clay-limestone hills of Monferrato south of Alessandria — is the noblest expression of Cortese, the quintessential Piedmontese white variety. On the Gavi hills, it produces elegant, mineral dry whites of unexpected depth for a Piedmont white. The colour is pale, clear, brilliant gold.
