Classic Valpolicella — a DOC on the hills west of Verona — is a light, fruity red wine produced from Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella without appassimento. It is the most accessible expression of Corvina, vinified to preserve freshness and fruit. The colour is light, translucent ruby garnet.
