Fogoneu — a native red variety of Majorca — is one of the indigenous varieties of the Balearic Islands, increasingly valued in the context of rediscovering local varieties. It is blended with Manto Negro, another Majorcan variety, in the reds of Binissalem and Pla i Llevant. The colour is medium ruby garnet.
