Folle noire — also called Fuella Nera in Nice dialect — is one of the rare native varieties of the Bellet AOC, a micro-appellation on the hills behind Nice. Blended with Braquet and Cinésault, it yields discreet and original reds, reflecting a unique Alpes-Maritimes terroir. The colour is light ruby garnet.
