Gamay Côtes de Toul vin rouge tranquille
- Origin
- Saint-Aubin, in Côte de Beaune
Côtes de Toul — the Lorraine vineyard south-west of Nancy — is one of France’s most northerly appellations. Gamay is blended with Pinot noir to produce the characteristic red and ‘gris’ (rosé) wines of the region. The cool continental climate gives wines of great vivacity and nerviness.
