Gamay Val de Loire Anjou-Saumur vin rouge tranquille

Origin: Saint-Aubin, in Côte de Beaune

Gamay is present in Anjou reds, where it is blended with Cabernet franc in the Anjou rouge and Anjou Villages appellations. On the schist, tuffeau and clays of Maine-et-Loire, it contributes lightness and fruit to more structured blends. The colour is light ruby red.
