Soave — one of Italy’s best-known white wines — is produced from Garganega (minimum 70%) on the basalt and limestone hills east of Verona. In Soave Classico — the historic zone with volcanic soils — Garganega achieves its most noble and mineral expressions. The colour is pale, clear, brilliant gold.
