Graciano — a Rioja red variety that is both aromatic and tannic — was on the verge of disappearing before its recent rehabilitation. Blended in small proportions in Rioja (with Tempranillo, Grenache and Mazuelo), it contributes colour, acidity and aromas to blends with great ageing potential.
