Moscatel de Alejandría from Chile — a widely planted muscat white variety in Chile’s northern regions, in the Elquí and Atacama valleys — is principally destined for distillation into Chilean Pisco. It is also used for aromatic semi-dry and still white wines sold under the Valle de Elquí appellation.
