Orbois Touraine

Origin
An ancient grape variety originating from the Loire Valley, most likely from central Touraine. It belongs to the large family of historical Loire grape varieties.
Also known as
Menu Pineau, Arbois (not to be confused with the Jura appellation), Loire Pinot

Orbois — an autochthonous white variety of the Touraine, also known as Menu Pineau, grown in small quantities in the Touraine Amboise and Montlouis vineyards on the clay-siliceous soils and tuff of the Cher valley — is an extremely rare variety, preserved by a few passionate winegrowers.
