Petit Meslier vin blanc tranquille

Origin

Northeast of France, Champagne. Former natural cross between Gouais Blanc × Savagnin.

Meslier, Meslier Vert, Gros Meslier, Meslier d'Orléans, Petit Meslier Blanc.

A lively and tonic white grape, the Petit Meslier gives wines of marked acidity and great freshness, with a bouquet of citrus and white flowers. It maintains its acidity even in hot years, offering a tension comparable to Riesling. In single variety, it produces straight and linear wines, with lemony and chalky notes.
