Pinot Noir rosé from the Côte de Nuits — Burgundian rosés exist but are rare; the most notable is Marsannay rosé, the only appellation of the Côte de Nuits able to produce rosés, on the clay-limestone soils with a Burgundian continental climate — produces fine, elegant and aromatic rosés.
