Pinot Noir from Ladoix — grown in the commune of Ladoix-Serrigny, the northernmost and most discreet of the Côte de Beaune, sharing the Corton hill with Aloxe-Corton and Pernand-Vergelesses, on the clay-limestone and oolitic limestone — produces Pinot Noirs that resemble Aloxe-Corton at a much more reasonable price.
