Pinot Noir from Latrières-Chambertin — a Grand Cru of the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin at 7.35 ha, situated immediately below Chambertin on the Bajocian clay-limestone, the most superficial soil of the nine Gevrey Grand Crus — produces a Grand Cru of very robust structure, the closest to Chambertin in power.
