Pinot Noir from Mazoyères-Chambertin — a Grand Cru of the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin at 18.6 ha adjacent to Charmes-Chambertin, whose wines may also legally be sold as Charmes-Chambertin — is a rare Grand Cru under its own appellation, as almost all producers prefer to use the Charmes appellation.
