Region of Montélimar in the Drôme

Roussanne from the Languedoc — grown in the Languedoc, particularly around Béziers and in the Saint-Chinian, on the limestone, schist and black clay soils with a hot Mediterranean climate — produces whites less structured than its Rhône versions but of fine volume and beautiful aromatics.
