Sangiovese from Umbria — the dominant variety of Tuscany, present in Umbria (Torgiano, Montefalco), grown on the clay-limestone soils and tuff terraces with a Mediterranean climate with continental influence — produces fruity, elegant and well-structured reds, often blended with Sagrantino or other local varieties.
