Sauvignon blanc from the right bank — grown on the right bank of the Gironde (Blaye, Bourg, Côtes de Bordeaux), on the clay-limestone and loam soils with an oceanic climate — produces fresh and fruity whites, less well-known than those of the left bank, but of very good value.
