Tannat Sud-Ouest Pays Basque vin rouge tranquille

Tannat from the Pays Basque — grown in the Irou léguy appellation (Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Pays Basque), on the schist and sandy-quartz soils with a humid and cool Atlantic mountain climate — produces more elegant and fresh reds than Madiran, blended with Cabernet franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.
