Tempranillo Catalogne vin rouge tranquille

Origin
Issued from the natural crossbreeding of a white grape variety from the Ribera del Duero and a red grape variety from Aragon: the albillo mayor and the benedicto.
Also known as

Tempranillo from Catalonia — grown in the Catalan appellations (Penedès, Empordà, Terra Alta), on the limestone and shale soils with a Mediterranean climate — produces fruity and accessible reds, often blended with Garnacha and Syrah. Torres (Sangré de Toro) makes the most celebrated version.
