WHY IS VINONIA RELEVANT TO WSET?
The VINONIA application has been designed in part on the theoretical foundations of the WSET. For example, you will find the same scales for comparing the acidity of a wine, from 1 to 5, and for assessing the tannins in red wines, also on a scale of 1 to 5. Climates are also defined according to WSET criteria. These are defined as cool, temperate, hot and very hot.
The interconnection of all these elements enables WSET tasters and students to grasp the concepts presented in the app in a fun and educational way.
