Godello — a native white variety of north-west Spain — is one of the most exciting rediscoveries of contemporary Spanish viticulture. Long marginalised, it is now valued in the appellations of Galicia and Bierzo for its whites of exceptional elegance, minerality and longevity. The colour is pale, clear gold.
