Dolcetto

In the Dolcetto d'Alba appellation, this grape variety gives fruity, indulgent and velvety red wines, to be drunk young. Aromas: black cherry, plum, almond, violet, liquorice. Mouth: round, flexible but present tannins, moderate acidity, slightly bitter finish. Frank, fleshy but easy style, often without marked aging.
