Montepulciano

Origin: Abruzzo

The Montepulciano is a primarily Italian red grape variety grown in Abruzzo, but also in Molise and Marche, where it gives rise to calm red wines with power, fruitiness, and tannins. Aromas: black cherry, plum, fig, liquorice, sweet spices, occasionally hints of cocoa or damp earth.
