The Mazuelo, also called Carignan, gives powerful, tannic and often rustic still red wines, typical of the Languedoc and warm zones. Aromas: blackberry, black cherry, spices, leather, undergrowth. Palate: dense structure, firm tannins, marked acidity and slightly astringent finish.
