Gamay

Origin: Saint-Aubin, in Côte de Beaune

The Gamay produces light, fruity, and greedy still red wines, mainly in Beaujolais and in some areas of the Loire or Switzerland. Aromas: strawberry, cherry, raspberry, violet, sometimes white pepper or banana (if carbonic maceration).
